The history of the school

Agora Portals International School is a multilingual private school in Mallorca characterised by educational innovation, high academic achievement and personalised education for each student. In addition, it is also an Official Music Conservatory.

Our educational project

IB: Un modelo de futuro

IB: a model for the future

Agora Portals International School has been authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) since 2011, being the first school in the Balearic Islands to obtain it. It is a model for the future which develops pupils' key skills for their academic, professional and personal success, helping them to achieve their goals in an international context.

Multilingüismo

Multilingualism

We prepare students for an international future without limits or barriers. We offer a multilingual educational project, with linguistic immersion beyond English, which allows students to master the official language of their place of residence along with English, French, German or Chinese. In addition, they can obtain official qualifications such as Trinity College London or Cambridge certificates.

Música y expresión

STEAM: Science and Arts

Art and Science through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) is a pedagogical approach that advocates collaborative work and the integration of highly related skills. Our school is an Official Music Conservatory and offers its pupils the possibility of obtaining the Elementary Music Degree and continuing their musical studies. The creative and performing arts also play an important role in the students' education, strengthening their intellectual capacities.

Deportes y salud

Sports and Health

Sport is an integral part of our curriculum, instilling healthy habits in our students and encouraging values such as perseverance, teamwork and self-improvement. Our pupils have access to the Agora International Sports Club, where football, basketball and volleyball teams compete in federated leagues. This training is complemented with sporting events organised by the school and the Globeducate group throughout the school year.

Shaping the world

Shaping the World

Children entering education today will graduate as young adults in 2030. We must prepare them for jobs and technologies that do not exist today, to solve problems that have not yet been foreseen. We encourage our students to take charge and shape their own future: we want them to be global citizens who can shape the world.
